Woman turns all the creepy pickup lines she gets into hilarious illustrations Artist Emmie Tsumura found a creative way to channel all of the creepy messages into a creative art project.

When I ventured into the world of online dating many moons ago, it was super depressing. I’d message girls who seemed awesome and cool and beautiful and would never get responses from them, probably because other guys who were awesomer and cooler and more beautiful than me were hitting them up.

For women I can only imagine how annoying it is to deal with the constant messages and requests from sweaty pornbrains hitting them up all the time. I wouldn’t even know how to deal with that barrage on a daily basis.

But artist Emmie Tsumura found a creative way to channel all of these messages into a creative art project.

By illustrating all the creepy, strange, and funny pickup lines guys send her

In an interview with Mashable, Tsumura said that she was encouraged to do more drawings when she sent an initial batch to her friend, who loved them.

Her account, OK_Cucumber, is full of some real gems.

Everyone’s probably heard this one.

The scarf really ties this one together.

Tsumura went on to say that even though a lot of the messages are gross, she’s not drawing these as a coping mechanism.

They’re more of a “graphic survey” of her online dating experiences.

“Illustration has helped me to take a step back and observe what’s happening. We are all reacting to what each person is putting out there.”

I feel like Brock Turner and Ryan Lochte are giving other swimmers out there a bad name. I mean this guy posted a math equation. I find it charming. But then again, I know nothing about math.
